Elizabeth received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Mercer University where she graduated with honors. Elizabeth has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist for five years in a variety of settings including subacute, outpatient, home health, and acute care physical therapy. Elizabeth currently practices as a full-time physical therapist at Northside Hospital in both inpatient acute care, as well as outpatient wound care. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and serves as a clinical instructor to Doctor of Physical Therapy students. Elizabeth is pursuing a specialty certification in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy to better serve her patients with higher acuity in the acute care and ICU setting. She currently serves as a Teaching Aide for Georgia State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Cardiopulmonary class. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, playing with her Alaskan Husky, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
